Krzyszytof Molenda

Krzysztof Molenda is a Polish artist, graphic designer and professor at the University of the Arts in Poznań, Poland. He works across painting, graphic arts and visual communication, combining traditional techniques with contemporary digital media.

He has been teaching and working with students in Poland and abroad, including Italy and China. His artistic practice encompasses graphic design, painting, printmaking and experimental approaches to the relationship between image and text.

He is interested in the ways visual language, words, letters and images interact, and how they reflect our personal experiences and the world around us. He approaches his work as an intuitive record or trace of emotional and physical surroundings, exploring the relationships between space, time, presence, process and material.

In recent years, his work has increasingly focused on painting, typography and the meeting point between visual art and language. He is also interested in cultural exchange, collaborative artistic practices and the role of art in connecting people and communities.

He has participated in numerous artistic and educational projects and has created murals, including two in Orgosolo, Sardinia, an experience that strengthened his connection with the island and its culture.
