Konrad Geyer is a German artist who lives Ulm, Germany. He has a background in architecture and a distinctive approach to visual art that combines art with graphic techniques.
His work explores frottage, printmaking, and woodblock printing, bringing texture, form, and the surrounding environment into his drawings.
During his artist residency at Sa Buttega, Konrad devoted his time to capturing the beauty of Villasalto’s surrounding landscape through drawing and printmaking.
As part of his residency, Konrad lead two workshops at the Villasalto Library: one for adults and another for children and teenagers, to involve the local community in art-making. Participants had the opportunity to discover the frottage technique and create their own landscape artwork of Villasalto and become artists for a day.
At the end of his residency, Konrad exhibited his work in the Gallery for the community to come see.
